Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Atlente (atlente.com), an online service that turns baseball workout footage into per-player highlight reels. "Atlente", "we" and "us" refer to the provider of the service. By creating an account or purchasing a subscription you agree to these terms. If you use Atlente on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for it.

Atlente analyzes the footage you upload to identify your players, organize clips by drill, trim unused footage, and assemble per-player highlight reels and clips for you to download. Some processing steps run on third-party cloud and artificial intelligence providers, as described in our Privacy Policy. We may improve, change or discontinue features as the product evolves.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your login credentials confidential, and to tell us promptly at baseball@atlente.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. You are responsible for activity that takes place under your account.

You keep ownership of the footage, rosters and other material you upload. You grant Atlente a limited license to store and process that material solely to provide the service to you.

You confirm that you have every right, permission and consent required to record the people who appear in your footage and to have that footage processed by Atlente — including the consent of a parent or legal guardian whenever a person shown is a minor. Atlente processes your material only on your instructions.

Atlente is an editing tool. It does not evaluate, rank or make decisions about the athletes in your footage; any assessment of a player is made by you.

You agree not to use Atlente to upload unlawful content; to upload footage of people you are not authorized to record or process; to monitor, profile or track individuals; to infringe anyone's rights; to resell or share access to your account; or to disrupt, probe or reverse-engineer the service.

The Atlente Scout plan costs US$24 per scout per month. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout.

Each subscription includes a monthly processing allowance sized for regular scouting use, and your current usage is shown in the app. If the allowance is used up before the period ends, new workout uploads are paused until your next billing period begins; everything already processed stays available.

New accounts may process one workout free of charge. To start it, you add a payment method through Paddle; nothing is charged at that point. After the free workout we ask whether you want to continue: your card is charged the monthly price only if you confirm, and if you decline or don't answer within 7 days the trial ends with no charge. One free workout per customer and payment method. The free workout has a size limit; footage beyond it can be processed once you subscribe.

If we change the price, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance, and the new price will apply from your next billing period after that notice.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Your purchase is also subject to the Paddle Buyer Terms.

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will not be charged again. Refunds, including our 30-day money-back guarantee, are described in our Refund Policy.

Exported reels and their source footage are stored for 7 days after the reel is ready, or 24 hours after you download it, whichever comes first, and are then permanently deleted from our servers. Footage you upload but never export into a reel is deleted after 30 days without activity on that project. Atlente is not a long-term storage service: download anything you want to keep.

You may stop using Atlente and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if payment fails, or if required by law. Where reasonable, we will tell you why and give you an opportunity to fix the issue first.

Atlente relies on automated processing that can make mistakes — for example, attributing a clip to the wrong player or cutting a play too short. Review your reels before sharing them. The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.

To the extent permitted by law, Atlente is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for Atlente in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Atlente after the change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of any mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
