Atlente

Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Atlente (atlente.com) turns baseball workout footage into per-player highlight reels. This policy explains what information we handle, why, and the choices you have. Contact: baseball@atlente.com.

For the footage and rosters you upload, you decide what is recorded and why, and Atlente processes that material on your behalf and only to provide the service to you. For your account information, Atlente is responsible for how it is handled.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information: your name and email address.
  • Your content: the videos you upload and their technical metadata (such as recording date and duration), transcriptions of their audio, the rosters you import, and the player names Atlente detects or you enter.
  • Usage and technical data: activity logs, processing records used to measure your monthly allowance, and basic device and browser information needed to operate and secure the service.
  • Billing information: payments are handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. We receive details about your subscription and transactions (such as plan, status, amount and country), but never your full card number.

3. How we use it

We use this information to provide the service — processing your footage into reels, notifying you when reels are ready, measuring usage against your plan, and giving support — and to keep Atlente secure and prevent abuse. We use product analytics to improve Atlente only if you accept them (see section 7). We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

4. How your content is processed

Atlente analyzes your footage and rosters to identify players, organize clips and assemble your reels. Some steps of this processing run on specialized cloud and artificial intelligence providers acting on our behalf. They receive only the portions of your content a given task requires — such as segments of audio or video, or roster details — and may use them only to provide their service to Atlente.

Your original uploads are never modified; every edit is saved as a new file.

5. Service providers

We rely on providers that process information for us only to operate Atlente:

  • Cloud hosting on servers in the United States, and video storage with Cloudflare R2.
  • Specialized cloud and artificial intelligence processing providers (section 4).
  • Transactional email delivery, and error monitoring to detect and fix problems.
  • Product analytics, only when you have accepted them.
  • Paddle, which processes payments as our Merchant of Record under its own privacy policy.

We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users and of Atlente.

6. Retention

Your videos do not stay on our servers indefinitely. Deletion is automatic:

  • Exported reels and their source footage are permanently deleted 7 days after the reel is ready, or 24 hours after you download it, whichever comes first.
  • Footage you upload but never export is deleted after 30 days without activity on the project.

Account information is kept while your account is open and deleted when you delete your account. Paddle keeps its own transaction records as required by law.

7. Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to run the service. Product analytics are optional: they only run if you choose "Accept" in the cookie banner, and nothing is collected for analytics if you choose "Decline".

8. Security

Information travels encrypted over HTTPS. Download links to your footage are signed and expire within minutes, and there are no permanent public links to your material. Only your account can see your projects, players and reels. Atlente staff access customer material only when needed to diagnose a technical problem, and only to the extent required.

9. Your rights

You can delete your account and all of its content at any time from Settings. To request a copy of your data, or to access or correct your information, email baseball@atlente.com; we respond within 30 days. These rights apply under the Dominican Republic's data protection law (Law 172-13) and any other data protection law that applies to you.

10. Minors in footage

Atlente accounts are for adults. Baseball prospects who appear in footage are often minors. The customer who uploads footage is responsible for having the recording authorizations it requires, including the consent of a parent or legal guardian when a player is a minor. Atlente processes that footage only on the customer's instructions and deletes it according to section 6.

11. International processing

Atlente and its providers process information in the United States and in other countries where those providers operate. By using Atlente, your information may be processed outside your country of residence.

12. Changes to this policy

If we make a material change to this policy, we will notify you by email or in the app before it takes effect.
